一、设计思想:
1、 教学指导思想:《英语课程标准》强调课程从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。
2、 设计理念:
英国著名教学法专家韦斯特认为“教授英语的基本任务,首先是培养直接阅读能力”;信息处理阅读理论强调学习者应把注意力集中于理解语篇的整体意义,提高阅读效率;加德纳的多元智能理论认为:每个学生在不同程度上拥有八种基本智能,即语言智能、数理-逻辑智能、空间智能、音乐智能、身体-运动智能、人际关系智能、自我认识智能和自然观察智能。智能之间的不同组合表现出个体间的智力差异,教育的起点不在于一个人有多么聪明,而在于怎样变得聪明,在哪些方面变得聪明,这八种智能还需要靠环境的影响和教育来开发,加德纳强调教育的目的是真正理解并学以致用。
基于上述理论和英语课程标准对4级学生的阅读要求,本课侧重于如何激发学生自主阅读的兴趣,培养积极的学习态度,指导学生的学习策略和训练学生的阅读技巧。结合任务型语言教学模式,采用“八合一”教学设计策略,即把多元智能融入教学中。教学程序包括四个阶段-------唤醒智能、拓展智能、教学智能和迁移智能。
3、 教材分析:
本文是第4单元第一话题的阅读文,是一篇介绍热带雨林的特征和重要性的说明文。生词量较大(计17个)。阅读
策略是学会预测。
4、 学情分析:
八年级的孩子思维能力发展较快,自我意识增强,在情感方面能进行自我教育,渴望得到理解和尊重。由于英语的阅读量不足,没有养成阅读的习惯,在阅读方面还没有掌握相关的技巧。
二、教学目标:
1. 能读懂关于热带雨林的文章,了解热带雨林的特征和重要性。
2.能根据要求自主获得信息和处理信息,如能判断文章体裁,找出文章的主旨大意等。
3.能理解文章的深层含义。
4. 能根据所学知识写一篇保护热带雨林的文章。
三、教学重点:
学会单词,词组及相关的阅读技巧(略读、跳读和研读),强调对语篇的整体理解。
四、教学难点:
1、能学会如何寻找主旨大意。 2、能学会如何构建写作框架。
