Brief introduction about Darwin
Charles Darwin (1809 – 1882) was an English naturalist, geologist and biologist, best known for his contributions to the science of evolution. He changed the way we think about the origins of animals and plants. When he was 22, he joined a 5 year expedition on board a ship called the Beagle. He wanted to explore different wildlife landscapes. The journey included a visit to the Galapagos Islands in the pacific ocean. Darwin wrote down records ,made drawings and brought thousands of specimens, some of the specimens can still be seen at the Natural History Museum in London.
