教材分析 仁爱英语(2013版)八年级上册Unit 2谈论如何保持健康。Topic1 Section A介绍了感冒、头疼等常见病的名称,出现了疾病名称的词:cold, fever, cough, toothache, backache, headache, stomachache等以及相对应的短语:have a cold, have a fever, have a cough, have a headache, have a toothache, have a backache, have a stomachache等。通过Kangkang 和Betty的对话,呈现了询问生病情况的对话:What’s wrong with you I have a … 等,以及表达关心所提的建议:You should… 和You shouldn’t…。本课的语法重点是You should… 和You shouldn’t…。语言功能方面要求学生学会用英语描述疾病并能就疾病征求他人意见、给他人提建议等。要求学生能在课后用英语写一个融入询问病情,描叙病情及表达关心所提的建议的综合对话。
学情分析 1.教学对象为普通中学的八年级学生。该年龄段的学生个性活泼,求知欲、向师感强,大部分学生愿意积极配合老师。2.学生程度参差不齐,有的学生可能说的好,有的说的不好,有的还不敢说,老师要针对学生现状,在课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,注重培养学生学习英语的兴趣,营造学英语的氛围,鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。3. 由于本课是关于学习询问病情,描叙病情及表达关心所提建议的内容,它贴近生活,并且学生对这部分内容感兴趣,有许多话要说,他们会积极参与。但由于学生掌握的词汇量不多,平时又较少用英语与他人交谈并表达信息,所以要利用他们对知识的兴趣,尽量引导学生如何用英语正确表达自己的意思。

Skill aims:1. 能听懂有关表述身体各部分病痛,并提出建议的简单对话和叙述。2. 能根据图片就身体状况,熟练地运用should,shouldn’t进行有益的建议的简单对话或叙述。3. 能正确朗读介绍日常小病的对话。4. 能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演活动。5. 能写出有关日常小病的名称和提出建议的简单句子。Emotional aims:1. 通过了解他人的身体状况,培养关心他人的意识,为我们的健康生活创建友爱、和谐的氛围。 2. 采用游戏、角色扮演、闯关活动、砸金蛋等灵活多样的学习方式,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。Learning strategies:1. 能够清楚、大声地朗读。2. 培养学生根据图片猜单词意思以及预测对话的能力。3. 培养学生模仿已有例句造句的能力。 4. 在交际中,可利用体态语,表情等进行交流。Cultural awareness:1. 用恰当的方式向别人提出关于身体不适的建议。

教学策略 为了更好的体现新课改理念,按照课程改革的要求,遵循“老师由主演变导演,学生由配角变主角”的角色转换,把课堂交给学生的教学理论,采用以下教学策略:1. 利用结对练习,亲自参与模仿表演各种疾病并表演医生或朋友提建议等方法,借助多媒体,图片等直观教具创设情境,培养学生直接用英语思维的能力,使学生在轻松愉快的气氛中理解运用英语,提高教学效果。2.利用游戏比速度“I do ,you say” and “I say ,you do” games,慧眼识图,“Guess game”,最佳医生,砸金蛋等贯穿整个教学活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性,使学生不停的动脑筋将零碎的语言知识组织到一起。3.在教学中,由于学生的英语水平参差不齐,因此采取循序渐进,由易到难和因材施教的教学策略,对不同程度的学生设置不同的任务,提高学生的课堂参与度。

Stage 1 Getting the students ready for learning.1. The teacher pretends to have a cold and then lead to keeping healthy and illnesses.2. Learn the new words and phrases about illnesses by pictures. have a cold, have a fever, have a cough, have sore eyes,have a headache, have a toothache, have a backache, have a stomachache3. Play “ I do ,you say” and “I say ,you do” games to master the new words and phrases about illnesses .Then lead to 1c: Listen and number the pictures. 通过肢体语言,导入keeping healthy 和 illnesses 形象逼真。利用疾病图片,游戏和听1c录音给图片排列正确的顺序,激发学生学习兴趣,轻松掌握词汇,为顺利导入新课做好充分准备。
Stage 2 Lead-in1. Look at the picture in 1a and guess “What’s wrong with Kangkang What should he do ”2. Listen to the tape of 1a and finish 1b, then check the answers.3. Watch the flash and then read 1a after the tape.4. First read 1a together, then read in roles.5. Find out the important phrases and sentences in 1a. 让学生看1a配图,预测1a对话内容。让学生听1a的录音,以听力的形式让学生学会疾病的表达和如何适当地给建议。跟读,齐读,分角色读1a,找出文中重点词句和目标语言,为下一步的学以致用打好基础。
Stage 3 Pre-listening1. Play “guess game” to master how to talk about illnesses. 2. Look the pictures, learn how to give some advice on illnesses in pairs.Then lead to 2: Match the sentences with the best doctor’s advice. Last check the answers. 通过猜一猜游戏,让学生再次了解和巩固表达生病的对话。利用图片导入并练习提建议的表达,让学生学会使用should和shouldn’t。
Stage 4 While-listening1. Look at the picture in 3A to predict the listening content.2. Listen to the conversations and number the pictures in 3A. Listen to the conversations in3A again and complete the blank in the form..Listen again and then write down the advice, using should/shouldn’t. And finish 3B. Last check the answers. 听3A录音,进行循序渐进听力练习,训练学生听关键信息的能力,同时也巩固提建议的句型。
