Guide Ss to read the passage and add a title.
【设计意图】通过一篇小短文，引导学生加标题，顺利引出本课即将要学习的主要内容。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Guide Ss to work out the rules of prediction.
【设计意图】引导学生系统掌握预测这一阅读技能。
Step 3 Practice
1. Guide Ss to predict the points that will be talked about in an article called The trouble with teenagers.
2. Guide Ss to predict what the books are about.
3. Guide Ss to match questions with the predicted answers.
【设计意图】通过多任务练习，帮助学生熟练掌握并运用预测这一阅读技能。
Step 4 Production
Guide Ss to choose a book and predict what they will read.
【设计意图】引导学生自行选择书本，在实际情景中运用预测这一阅读技能。

1. Read the titles in the newspaper and try to predict what comes next.

To predict is to guess what comes next. It helps us understand what kinds of books or articles we are reading, and where we might find information.
When we read an article, we can often predict the content from the title. .
We can also use the headings in an article to predict the main idea of each part.
