一、教学目标
1. 掌握本课重点词汇和短语：confirm, victim, crime, somewhere, contact, wound, bleed,
enemy, single, well-paid, charge, break into, system, suppose, only, witness, report, breathe,
heavily, reward, arrest
2. 掌握本课重点句型：
(1) We are asking anyone who saw anything unusual near Corn Street last night to contact us.
(2) We are now checking the scene for more clues which will help solve the case.
(3) The victim’s parents have offered a reward of 50,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the murderer.
能够读懂有关谋杀案的语篇信息，并能获取案件的具体信息。
4. 学会防范犯罪的伤害。

Step 1 Revision
Retell the crime happened in Sun Town.
【设计意图】通过复习Sun Town的谋杀案，复习侦探故事的核心内容，为下面的阅读做
准备。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Read and learn some new words.
【设计意图】创设情景学习新词汇。
2. Read and fill in the blanks.
【设计意图】通过阅读题目获取核心信息，并借用图片学习新词汇，了解犯罪的基本信息。
Step 3 While-reading
Read and answer some questions.
【设计意图】通过快速阅读，了解案件的大致信息。
2. Read and find out the information about the victim.
【设计意图】通过阅读，获取受害者的基本信息。
3. Read and complete the Graphic organizer. Then learn something about cracker.
【设计意图】通过阅读，以画思维可视图的形式提取信息，同时培养学生的思维能力。
4. Read and find out the information about the suspect.

5. Read the last paragraph and complete the passage.
