学情分析
Resource analysis:
The main topic of this unit is the favorite subject, students will know the vocabulary of subjects in English well. At the same time, students can express the reason with descriptions.
Students analysis:
It’s hard for students to express the subjects they like. Teachers have to guide students to know the vocabulary and lead them to tell the reasons why they like it. In the process of learning, students need to talk about their own, friends’ favorite subjects and they will learn to promote the friendship. Besides, the students of Grade seven love games and active ways of learning, therefore some games and activities are designed

一、【视频导入】Pictures and videos
1. According to the pictures, the teacher should lead the students to guess why the teacher is happy and where the teacher and her son will go.
2. Watch a video about the communication between the teacher and her son about his subjects on Friday.
3. Ask and answer:
1) How many subjects does Eason have
2) What are they
3) What’s his favorite subject

二、【讲授】Words of subjects.
1. Show the pictures and learn the new words of subjects: English, math, Chinese , music, science, P.E, math, history, art, geography
2. Read the subjects aloud

【小组团队游戏活动】Game one: Bingo
Students of four write down the subjects in the form, when they have marked the three subjects in the same row that they hear the teacher says, they say “Bingo” and the words of the subjects aloud.
(通过有趣的Bingo活动巩固单词的学习,小组活动形式有助于同学间的交流)
三、【讲授】Descriptions and sentences learning
1. Descriptions learning: Show the pictures of students’ expression to learn the descriptions. (relaxing, fun\ interesting, boring, difficult)

2. Sentences learning (Role play: A boys, B girls): According to the pictures to grasp the words and sentences.

【双人对话游戏活动】Game two: 击鼓传球 To pass the ball
1. The teacher gives a big ball and plays music. The students in pair who have the big ball should stand up to practice the dialogue when the music stops.

【综合训练】 Game three: Survey
1. Ask three to four students what subject he\she likes and what subject not like and describe the reasons.

1. Zijing Speech competition: Students hold a speech competition. Invite one student to be a host to take charge of the speech competition. Others should prepare the speech for three minutes.
