Language focus:

Steps:
Introduce vocabulary:
Use a ruler to teach the word “cm”.
Ask the students to measure their books, desks etc.
Let the students weigh their books, bags with a scale and learn “kg”. Then learn “light” and “heavy”
To mime and explain “strong” and “weak”.
To act and learn “fast” and “slow”.
Read the words after me.
Answer my questions. Let’s talk about my appearance.
Am I old / young / tall / short / light / heavy / strong / weak / fast / slow?
T: I am young. I’m tall. I’m light. I’m strong. I’m fast….
Let the students describe themselves in pairs then make some of them show their descriptions.
Show a picture of mine. Then I make a model to describe myself.
Look at the photos from last year. I was….
Let the students talk about other people.
Do a survey:
How were you last year?

Make a report.
Open the books and complete.
