If引导的条件状语从句:
if意为“_____”,是___词。
在含有if引导的条件状语从句的复合句中,主句用___________时,从句用__________时表将来,即遵从“主将从现”原则。
如果

if引导的条件状语从句可直接放在主句后面;若if放在句首,从句后面要加逗号与主句隔开。

1. 在含有if引导的条件状语从句的复合句中,如果从句的主语为you,该复合句可转换为:①肯定句:祈使句 + and + 简单句 ;②否定句:祈使句 + or + 简单句 。

= Put the meat in the fridge, or it will go bad.

2. 有时,if引导的条件状语从句可以与 with或
without引起的介词短语互换使用。
eg:If Linda helps me, I can finish the report soon.
= With Linda’s help, I can finish the report soon.

= Fish may die without water.

3. if还有“是否”之意,引导宾语从句。在具体使用中,我们要注意区分if引导的是宾语从句还是条件状语从句。
