No matter what you may buy, you might think those products were made in those countries. However, you could be wrong. Kang Jian is a 17-year-old student from Shanghai. Last year he went to visit his aunt and uncle in San Francisco. He found it interesting that so many products in the local shops were made in China. "I wanted to buy a toy car for my cousin, buy even though most of the toys were American brands, they were made in China."

The Difficult Search for American Products in the US
"I wanted to buy a pair of basketball shoes," he explains. "But I had to visit five or six stores before finding a pair made in America!" He realized that Americans can hardly avoid buying products made in China. "In fact," he continues, "there were many other things there made in China--- footballs, handbags, pet food, mobile phones. Even American flags are made in China!" Kang Jian thinks it's great that China is so good at making these everyday things. However, he hopes that in the future China will also get better at making high-technology products that people can buy in all parts of the world.
Toys are not the only things made in China.

Tea plants are grown on the sides of mountains. When the leaves are ready, they are picked by hand and then are sent for processing.

主语 be+过去分词 宾语
1. 把原主动句中的宾语变为被动句的主语。
2. 把动词变为被动形式即be+过去分词，并注意be 要与被动语态的主语的人称和数保持一致，而时态则保持不变。
3. 原主动句的主语若需要则放在by后面变成宾格形式。
4. 其它的成分不变。
主动语态变成被动语态的步骤
一般现在时的被动语态结构：
（1）肯定句：主语+ am / is / are + 动词的过去分词 +by+其他
e.g.：English is studied (by us) every day.
（2）否定句：主语+ am / is / are + not + 动词的过去分词 +by+ 其他
e.g.：English is not studied (by us) every day.
（3）疑问句：Be(am/is/are)+主语+动词的过去分词+by+其他？
e.g. Is English not studied (by us) every day
（4）特殊疑问句：疑问词+ am / is / are +主语+
过去分词+ 其他
e.g. Where is the car made
（1） 不知道谁是动作的执行者或没 有必要知道谁是动作的执行者时。
