本部分我采用两个课时来完成。第一课时1a,1b 1c 以及2,主要活动是1a。本话题由举行时装秀的活动来引入,向广大师生呈现了多姿多彩的服饰文化。本课在1a的对话中首先以讨论服饰的材质及相约去购买参加时装秀的服饰为切入点,通过1c的练习让学生掌握so...that...结构;又通过2的学习活动复习了学过的服饰的名称,引导学生学会对同一类别的单词进行集中的学习和记忆,并呈现了三个有关服饰名称的新词:tie,scarf和jeans。通过本课学习,要培养学生们对服饰文化的兴趣,并引导他们积极参与班级和学校的活动,建立集体荣誉感。

Stage 1 Getting students ready for learning.
Step 1 Greeting
T: Class begin.
Ss: Good morning, Ms.Tian
T: Good morning, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our class. Nice to see you here. Wish you have a good time today. Sit down,please.
Step2: Before class. Let’s look through the learning aims.
Stage 2 Lead-in(10mins)
Step 1 T: First, let’s enjoy a short video. During watching, pay attention to the clothes they wear.
T: What do you think of this video
Ss: It’s wonderful.
T: Oh yes, I agree with you. It’s a fantastic fashion show. How many kinds of clothes in this video Can you speak out the names
Ss: jacket,skirt, shorts, shoes, coat, dress, shoes, pants...
T: Wow, you can name so many! You are so smart! I prepared more pictures about clothes. Can you call them in English
板书:(Learn the new words: blouse, tie, sweater, jeans, scarf, socks)
Remark: 用时装秀导入新课,学习新单词,回顾所学单词,激发学生的学习兴趣以及引导他们了解更多服饰文化。
Step 2 Play a guessing game. The group speak out the most names of clothes rightly can get four points.
Step 3: T: We have learned many words about clothes. Now fill in the boxes with the words on your worksheet. Then listen to B and number the the pictures.
Remark: 让学生首先回顾已学过的服装词汇,唤醒沉睡的词汇,然后利用图片教学新词汇。游戏环节的设置意在活跃课堂气氛,营造一种轻松自如的学习氛围,充分发挥学生的主观能动性,积极性,体现学生学习的主体性。
Stage 3 Pre-listening(5mins)
Step 1 T: look at this picture, can you guess what it is
Ss: It’s a Chinese Tang costume.
T: Great. It’s popular in Tang dynasty. Costume is a kind of clothes, right Nowadays many people still like wearing Tang costume.
Stage 3 While-listening(15mins)
Step 1 Now let’s listen to 1a and answer the following questions.
What is Maria wearing
Is it a cotton one
What does Jane want to buy
Step 2 Listen again and finish 1b, circle true or false.
Step 3 Listen and follow the tape, pay more attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
Step4 Practice 1a with your partner face to face and then act it out. If you are ready, just put up your hand.
Remark: 设置听力任务,让学生带着问题听对话内容,培养学生听的能力,通过pairwork锻炼学生说的技能,follow the tape提高读的技能,注重语音语调。
Stage 4 Post-listening
Step1 Now I believe you must be very familiar with this passage. Please find out the key sentences of 1a.

Step2 Practice 1c. Fill in the blanks with”so ...that...” according to the four pictures. Shall we check now (afford)
Step 3 Try to make a dialog by yourselves. I’ll give you an example.

Ss: Because her coat is so beautiful that she likes it very much/
Step 4 Let’s do some exercises.
Remark: 利用学生寻找1a中的关键信息,以问题的形式巩固1a中的语言点,并锻炼学生说英语的能力,以达到教学目标的要求。

Stage 6 Teaching reflection
The topic of clothes is close to the students’ life. Teachers should use more resourses around us and on the internet to teach the words and talk about the topic of this unit. The teacher should also let the students have the right attitude about dressing.
