A great way to help you remember something is to imagine a picture of it in your mind. If you make the picture big, strange or silly, you will remember it better. For example, to remember the word “smiles”,
we can imagine there is a “mile” between the first letter
and the last letter. This makes it the longest word in the world.
Remember: a picture is worth a thousand words.

(1) way 和 method 均意为“方法;办法”,注意其区别:
way 是普通用语,着重个人的或具体的方式或方法,常用于in a(n) ... way 结构,意为“用……的方法/方式”。
method 强调系统地、有条理地办事或解决问题的方法。例如:
她友好地笑了笑。
She smiled in a friendly way.
刘老师用了一种新的教学法。

worth adj. 值得;有价值
worth 在句子中常用物作主语,后常接数词或名词表示具体的价值,也常接动词-ing 形式。
常用句型有:
sth be worth ... 某物值……
sth be worth doing 某事值得做……例如:
这幢房子值一百万元。 This house is worth 1,000,000 yuan.
这部电影值得一看。 The film is worth seeing.

unless conj. 除非
unless 用作连词,一般情况下可以与if ... not ... 互换使用,用来引导条件状语从句。unless 引导的条件句,主句的时态和从句的时态也要遵循“主将从现”的规律.如:
运动会将在早上八点开始,除非下大雨。
The sports meeting will start at 8 a.m. unless it rains heavily.
如果他不邀请我,我就不去参加聚会。
I won’t go to the party if he doesn’t invite me.
5. For example, you may have trouble remembering the list of steps in the water cycle. 例如,你也许在记忆水循环的步骤方面有困难。
(1) trouble n. 困难
be in trouble 处于困境中
get into trouble 陷入困境
have trouble (in) doing sth 意为“在做某事方面有困难”,其中介词in 可以省略。此结构与have difficulty / problems (in) doing sth 意思 相近。“在做某事方面没有困难”一般用
