课堂小结
1.We have listened to two memory tests.
2. We have learned about the loss of plosion.
3. We have learned to talk about our experience of remembering English words.
一、模仿朗读
We have been learning about the brain at school this week. The brain controls every part of the body. But not only people have brains. Animals have brains too.
Of course, animal brains are not as big as ours. My dog, Benny, is very clever. He will come to you if you call his name, and he can even pick up the phone and bring it to you. But he cannot talk, write or use a computer, like you and me.

参考答案:
1. imagine a picture 2. big, strange or silly 3. each letter of a word
4. the spelling 5. understand something well
课文复述
It is not easy to remember things without special ways. Henry thinks that a great way to help us remember something is to imagine a picture of it in our mind. A picture is worth a thousand words. It could be big, strange or silly. Paula believes that a good way to remember the spelling of a word is to make a short sentence with each letter of it. In Millie's opinion, we will remember something more easily if we understand it well. So try those ways. They may help you.
