I’m going to study medicine at a university.我打算在大学学习医学。
(1) medicine是名词，意为“药”,是药物的总称,尤指内服药; 还可指“医术,医学”。一般为不可数名词,但作“各种各样的药”解时可用作可数名词。
表示“吃药”通常说take medicine,
(2) university与college的意义及用法辨析：
①university指综合性大学,是覆盖全面的大学，可授予各种学位。如：
②college多指与综合性大学相对应的或综合大学内的专科院校,尤指军事、体育或艺术院校。如：
I’m going to write articles and send them to magazines and newspapers. 我打算写文章，发给报社和杂志社。
send是及物动词，意为“寄，发送”，其过去式和过去分词是sent。
常用短语:
send sb. sth.=send sth. to sb.“把某物寄/发送给某人”；send sth. from sp.意为“从某地寄某物”。如：
My friend sent me a present from Beijing last weekend.
上周末我朋友从北京寄给我一件礼物。
send后接表人的宾语（sb.）叫间接宾语，表物的宾语（sth.）叫直接宾语。当直接宾语（sth.）是代词（it或them）时，只能用send sth. to sb.结构。如：
Don't forget to send it to me. 别忘了把它寄给我。
