Step 1 Warming up and leading in
1.A guessing game
T: Look at the box. Do I have a basketball in the box No, I don't. Please ask me some questions like this. Let's see who can have the right guess.
S1: do you have a tennis racket in the box

Task 1: Let's play sports.

T: Now look at the chart and fill in the blanks. Make as many conversations as you can with your partner.

Task 2: Different feelings.
1.Match different feelings.
T: you have your own likes and dislikes. Today we will learn some new words to describe the sports. Here in 1a are five words. Let's see if they can express your feeling about sports and other things. Read them loudly and match each picture with one of the words.
2.Draw a picture according to different feelings.
T: Now please draw pictures that show something interesting, boring, fun, difficult or relaxing. Then show the pictures to your classmates and let them guess which of the five words the pictures show.
Ss:(work in groups and draw the pictures)

J: Well, do you have a volleyball
P: Yes.
J: Then let's play volleyball.

J: OK, let's watch TV.

J: Yes. I do. Let's play basketball!

T: I'll play the recording again. Let's read after the tape.
2.Pair work
T: Let's talk about the activities in 1c. You are Paul. Your partner is Paul's friend Jenny. Now look at the pictures and make conversations with your partner according to the pictures.
For example:
Paul: I don't have a soccer ball. Do you have a soccer ball
Jenny: Yes, I do.
Paul: OK, let's play soccer.
Jenny: That sounds good. Let's go.
