Step1:Pre-reading
Students watch a video about Spud Webb.
Teacher show students some pictures of Spud Webb and lead them to find out some words to describe the height of webb.

A short Chinese man seems to be the tallest in the world right now. Jack Ma, 50, is executive / g zekj t v / chairman(董事局主席) of Alibaba Group. On Sept 19, Alibaba went public(上市). Ma, a former English teacher, has become the richest man on the Chinese mainland.
Born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Ma grew up as a happy kid. At the age of 12, he wanted to learn English. Every morning, he woke up at 5a.m., went to a hotel near the West lake to chat to the foreign tourists. He did it for nine years, rain of shine.
