Step 1 Warming up
Ask the students to listen to the song and sing after the tape.

Step 2 Presentation
1. Present the key words.
(Show a basketball to the class. )

(Show the students other objects. Teach the new words and phrases *tennis ball, ping-pong
ball/bat,volleyball, soccer ball, bascball bat" in the same way. )
2. Ask the students to practice the new words and phrases. Translate the following into English.

Step3 Practice
1. Look at the four items in lb. Ask the students to listen to the conversation and circle the words they hear.

2. Pair work.
Practice the dill“Do you have a.. ." "in pairs. You can use your school things and these balls.
Practice like this:
A: Do you have a schoolbag
B: Yes, I do. Do you have a soccer ball

3. Read the conversation in lc and practice the conversation in pairs.

4. Work in groups of four and use the picture to practice the similar conversations with the new
words(ennis ball, basketball, ping-pong bat, soccer ball, vllyball, bascball bat). Ask and answer
the questions as many as you can.
Step4 Listening
1. Ask the students to listen to the conversations in 2a and number the pictures.
(Remind the students of the key information. )Then check the answers.

2. Look at the pictures in 2b and name them.
What are these
(Point at the tennis ball, basketball, soccer ball and volleyball. )
3. Listen again. Match the people from Activity 2a with the balls in 2b. Then check the answers.

Step 5 Group work
1. Ask the students to talk about the people in 2a & 2b like that in 2c.
2. Ask the students to make a survey about the balls they have and don't have. Then write down the information in the chart.
3. Make a report:
Choose one student from each group to report about their work. Like this:

4. Work in groups.
(1)“Do you hav.."是一般现在时的一 般疑问句,其中have是- -个实 义动词。句子的谓语动词如果是实义动词,常借助于助动词do或does构成- -般疑问句,主语是第三人称单数时用does,其他人称作主语时用do.其基本句式为“Do/Does+主语+动词原形...”其肯定答语为“Yes,主语+do/does. ”, 否定答语为“No,主语+don't/doesn't.”。
(2)have是及物动词,意为“拥有",有人称和数的变化,其第三人称单数形式是has。常用句式为“某人/某物+have/has+某物”,表示“某人/某物有某物”。
(3)实义动词(如have/has)作谓语时,其否定形式也要借助于助动词do或does来完成. do/does通常要和not缩写为don't/doesn't,助动词do/does后面的谓语动词要用愿形。
1 don't have(没有) a pen.

Step 1 Free talk
Work in groups of three to tlk about the sports things like this:

Step 2 Presentation
T: I have a soccer ball. Let's play soccer.
Ss: OK/Good idea...
(Learn: That sounds good. )
T: Now read the new words and check in groups.

Step 3 Role-play
1. The teacher leads in the conversation: Cindy and Helen are going to play baseball. Are they ready Let's read the dialogue.
2. Ask the students to read it in pairs.
3. Act out the dialogue in pairs and find out the best pairs.
4. Work in groups.
(1)let's是let us的缩写形式,其后接动词原形,常用来提出建议或征求意见,意为“让我们
...吧”。肯定回答- -般用“OK.”“All right.”或“That sounds good.”等,否定回答一般用“Sorry, I..."等。
(2)late用作形容词,意为“晚的:迟到",常置于连系动词之后作表语。
(3)too副词,意为“也"时,多用于肯定句和疑间句句末:否定句句末用either.
(4)sound意为“听起来好像”,是连系动词,它的第三人称单数形式为sounds,其后常接形容词作表语。
Step4. Grammar Focus
1. Ask the students to read the sentences in the chart.
2. Make sure the students know how to use“do" and“does".
Step5 Practice
1. Ask the students to write cach word in the correct place in the chart in 3a. Then check the answers.

1. Ask the students to answer the questions:

Step 2 Presentation

2. Let students work in pairs and talk about the ball sports with the dills:

2. Find the sports things that they have and they don't have. Fill in the correct column in 2a.
Then give a simple report. Like this:

4. Work in groups.
(1)same形容词,意为“相同的",在句中常与定冠词the连用,其反义词为dfferent,t意为“不同的:不-样的"。
(2)with介词,此处意为“-...在一起”,其后通常接表示人的名词或代词。with 还可用来表示:①“使用某种工具”,意为“使用”:②人或物所具有的特征,意为“带有,县有"。
Let's play soccer with Tom.让我们和汤姆一起踢足球吧。
He writes with a pen.他用钢笔写字。
She is a nice girl with big eyes.她是一个长着大眼睛的漂亮女孩。
(3)them是人称代词they的宾格,意为“他/她/它们”,常用于动词或介词后作宾语。
Where are my books I can't find them.
我的书在哪儿 我找不到它们了。
(4)watch.. .onTV意为“在电视上观....介词on表示“通过某种媒介”,意为“通过:使用:借助于”。
on TV意为“在电视上”,是固定短语,TV前不加the。
(5)easy形容词,意为“容易的”,其反义词为ifcult.因此“It's easy for me.”的同义句为“It's not dificult forme.”。此句中for为介词,意为“...米说",“ It is+形容词+for sb. todosth. ”为固定句式。其中it为形式主语,真正的主语通常为动词不定式短语to do sth.,真正的主语to do sth.有时可省略。
It is difficult for Wang Wei to play soccer.踢足球对王伟来说很难。
(6)afer class意为“课后”,其中afer为介词,意为“....后”,其后可接名词、代词,也可接动词ing形式。
You must have a good rest after playing socer. 踢足球后你必须好好休息。
Step 3. Practice
1. Students work in pairs to finish 3a and 3b.
2. Ask the students to give a report after the model.
Model: I don't have a baseball, but I have a soccer ball.
Tom has a bascball, but he docsn't have a bascball bat.
Step4 Writing
Rewrite the survey results by using“'she/he"" to replace“T".
Please pay more attention to the forms of the verbs.
