第一课时(A . Let’s learn & Let’s chant)
教学目标 1.知识目标:熟练掌握单词pig, bear, cat, dog和duck并能在实际生活中运用。 2.能力目标:培养学生的语言节奏感;提高学生的合作能力。 3.情感目标:培养学生爱护动物的良好品质。
教学重点 掌握pig, bear, cat, dog和duck五个动物类的单词并能用所学的句型问答各动物的名称。
教学难点 能有节奏地朗读Let's chant部分的歌谣。
教学准备 图片、录音机、录音带、课件。
教学过程 批注
Step 1 Warm-up 引导师生和生生之间互动,鼓励开口交流。激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望。
Greeting 师生之间互相打招呼问候。 T: Good morning! Boys and girls! Ss: Good morning! Miss/ Mr… T: S1, how are you S1: … T: Hello, what’s your name S2: … Let’s watch 教师播放一个关于动物的短视频,带领学生一起观看、跟唱。 T: Watch the video, what do you hear Ss: I hear … T: OK! What does a pig/bear/cat/duck/dog say Ss: It says ... Let’s play(Listen and guess) 教师依次动物的叫声音频,带领学生一起通过声音判断动物。 T: Listen carefully and guess, what’s this Ss: ...
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 通过复习旧知引入新知,衔接自然流畅。 以多种形式教授新词,并且做到词不离句。 通过自编chant,将单词和句型整合,让学生边说边做动作,加深学生对单词和句型的理解和记忆。
Presentation 1. New words(单词/句型学习) (1)教授单词pig,教师模仿农夫和小女孩口吻提问和回答。 T: Look, what’s this Show a picture of a pig on the PPT. T: It’s a pig. / g/, pig. What does a pig say Ss: Oink, oink. T: Great! Follow me: Oink, oink, pig. It’s a pig. Oink, oink, pig. Ss: Oink, oink, pig. It’s a pig. Oink, oink, pig. (2)大小声游戏。The teacher checks students’ pronunciation by the game “High and low voice”. (3)教授单词big。(课件出示:鼠标点击小猪的图片,猪逐渐变大,图片下方呈现pig—big) T: Look at the pig. It becomes big. T: / g/, pig. / g/, big. Big, big, big. Follow me: It’s a big. Big, big, big. Ss: It’s a pig. Big, big, big. (4)引导学生跟唱歌谣。 T: Now, let’s make a chant. It’s a ____. Oink, oink, pig. Look at the pig. It’s ____. Big, big, big. Students follow the teacher and repeat the chant. (课件出示:依次显示单词pig, bear, cat, duck, dog的相关内容,教学步骤基本同上,略有变化) (5)六个单词学完之后,整体进行单词复习。 T: I have a test for you. Look and say. Ss: OK. Practice.(单词/句型操练) 1. Let’s learn (1)看图预测故事内容。Show the picture and lead the students to predict the text. (2)播放视频动画并跟读。Play the cartoon of “Let’s learn”.Ask students to watch the cartoon and read after it. Let students pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. (3)学生自读单词和对话。Let students read the words and the dialogue by themselves. Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过创编chant、让学生结合学过的句型自由表达,培养学生的发散性思维,呈现人与动物和谐相处画面,培养学生热爱动物、保护动物的意识。
Let’s chant (1)观看视频,猜测大意。Watch the video and guess the meaning. The teacher plays the video of “Let’s chant”. (课件出示:教材P39 Let’s chant板块的视频) Students watch the video and guess the meaning of the chant. (2)边听边唱。Listen and chant. T: Now, let’s chant together after the recording! Are you ready Let’s go! Ss: … (3)呈现人与动物和谐相处图片,升华主题,进行热爱动物思想教育。 T: Look at the animals. They are so cute. We must love the animals.
Step 4 Summary&Homework
