1. Greet students.

1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Try to learn the new words.

Show some pictures on the screen. Let students make conversations using the given structures in pairs.

2. Play a game
Show students a bag filled with different kinds of things, and ask different students to pick one from it. Ask them following questions.

Step 4. Learning
1. Show some pictures on the screen. Let students fill in the blanks to figure out the difference between “be made of” and “be made from”, and learn the usage of “be made in”.
(让学生们学习掌握be made of/from句型的用法,及be made of与be made from的区别。
两词组都是“由……制成的”之意。)
be made of 指从原料到制成品只发生了形状变化,没有发生本质变化(属物理变化)
be made from指从原料到制成品发生了质的变化,已无法复原(属化学变化)。
be made in 指由……制造、生产。

一般现在时的被动语态
1. 主动语态和被动语态
主动语态:主语是动作的执行者。
被动语态:主语是动作的承受者。
主动语态:Mr. Gao cleans the house every day.
(主语 Mr. Gao是动作clean的执行者)
被动语态:The house is cleaned by Mr. Gao every day.
(主语 the house是动作clean的承受者)
2. 一般现在时的被动语态
构成:助动词am/is/are +及物动词的过去分词
用法:当说话者不知道动作的执行者,或者没有必要指出动作的执行者,或者只需强调动作的承受者时,可以用被动语态。
I am often praised by my teacher.
English is spoken in many countries.
Such books are written for middle school students.
肯定句 否定句 一般疑问句
一般现在时 I am asked …He /She is asked …We /You /They are asked … I am not asked…He/She is not asked…We/You/They are not asked … Am I asked … Is he/she asked … Are we /you /they asked …
3. 主动句变为被动句
(1)主动句中的宾语变为被动句中的主语;
(2)主动句中的谓语变为“ am/is/are+及物动词的过去分词”;
(3)主动句中的主语在被动句中变为介词by的宾语。
主动句: My mother cooks delicious noodles.

Step 7 Language points
1. No matter what you may buy, you might think those products were made in those countries. 无论你可能买什么,你也许认为那些产品就是那些国家制造的。
no matter意为“无论;不论”,与what, who, when, where, how等疑问词连用,引导让步状语从句。在从句中,常用一般现在时表示将来,从句可放在主句前或主句后。
No matter what you say, I won’t believe you. 无论你说什么,我都不会相信你。
【拓展】“no matter+疑问词”结构相当于“疑问词-ever”。
no matter how=however无论怎样
no matter when=whenever无论何时
no matter where=wherever无论哪里
no matter what=whatever无论什么
2. He found it interesting that so many products in the local shops were made in China. 他发现了一个有趣的现象,在当地的商店里,很多产品是中国制造的。
“find it +形容词+that从句”意为“发现……是……的”,其中it是形式宾语,that引导的从句是真正的宾语,形容词作宾语补足语。

3. He realized that Americans can hardly avoid buying products made in China. 他意识到美国人几乎无法避免购买中国制造的产品。
avoid doing sth. 意为“避免做某事”。
