The rice farmer

The farmer stands silently in the fading light.
The fields are watered and planted, the buffaloes are fed;
The only thing he thinks of now is finding home and bed.

According to a legend, one day, a small band from the city centre swaggered (趾高气扬地走) through the streets, blowing trumpets. At this time, a group of young people picked up some tomatoes and threw them at the trumpet tubes, and they had a mutual competition to throw tomatoes. This is the origin of the “Tomato War”.
