2. Create an original thesis
Having a thesis will take your review beyond the plot summary stage and into the realm of film criticism, which is rightfully its own art form.
3. Give the plot summary
Give a brief summary of the plot in which you identify the main characters, describe the setting, and give a sense of the central conflict or point of the movie.
4. Give your analysis
Present both the facts and your opinions. Keep your writing clear and easy to understand.
5. Supporting examples
If you make a statement about the film, back it up with descriptive examples. Describe the way scenes look, the way a certain person acted, camera angles and so on.
6. Conclusion
Let your language and writing style reflect your unique perspective and personality - it’s much more entertaining for the reader.

Jaws
Probably the most inspired piece of casting in the movie is the use of Richard Dreyfuss as the oceanographer.
Jaws is a great adventure movie of the kind we don’t get very often any more. It’s clean-cut adventure without the gratuitous violence of so many action pictures.

analyse the attractive scenes and / or the drawbacks with examples. You can also write about the actors’ and actresses’ performance;
give overrall comments and recommendations.
