c. Be able to pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation while reading.

a. Keep your room clean and tidy.
b. Educate students to form good living habits.

1. Have the students grasp the usage of where questions.
2. Have the students read all the words and sentences correctly.

Step 1 Review and warming up
1. The teacher asks questions by using the material objects.
2. Ask some questions and lead in the new class.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show the Ss a picture of a room and tell them this is a bedroom. Let the Ss list the things in it first. Then show them the whole picture, teach the new words, ask where the things are, let the Ss answer, using the prepositions.
Repeat with a sitting room, teach the new words and practice in the same way.
Step 3 Practice
1. Read the words loudly together.
2. Do 1a and then check answers.
Step 4 Consolidation
Use the sentence pattern to talk about the location of the things. And have a competition.
Step 5 Listening
Do 2b and teach Ss the listening skills and then check answers.
Step 6 Pair work
Show a picture of a room, give the Ss two minutes to look at it, then ask them what kind of things they saw and where the things are, Practice the target language and ask several pairs to show their dialogues.
Step 7 Summary
Summarize what we’ve learned in this class and tell Ss to clean their rooms and keep their rooms tidy and form good living habits.
