Step 1 Warming –up
1. Daily greeting to the students .
2. Lead—in .
Step 2 New words
1. Present the new words .
(1). Show an apple and ask like this :
T: What’t this Ss : It’s an apple .(Write the word “apple” on the Bb.)
Ask the Ss. to read after the teacher.
(2). Use the same approach to teach and practice the other words .
Practice the words again and again until they can name each item fluently.
(3). Show a picture of a fridge and let the Ss. guess What’s in the fridge Revise the names of food and fruits.
(4) Look at some pictures and let the Ss. pay attention to the plural forms of these new words .
(5) Give the Ss. some miuntes to remember the words and then have a test .
(6) Let the Ss. Look at the pictures and say out words .
Step 3 Presentation
(1) Show a banana ,act out like eating a delicious banana and say , “It’s a sweet banana .I like sweet food .So I like bananas . Do you like bananas ( Yes, I do . I like bananas .) Then take out ice—cream and say ,” It’s also sweet ,but it’s very cold . It’s bad for my teeth , so I don’t like ice—cream .Do you like ice—cream (No , I don’t . I don’t like ice—cream .)
(2) Ask more questions about fruits and food .
Step 4 Pairwork
(1). Look at the pictures of food and fruits . Ask the Ss. to make their own conversations about their likes and dislikes . Practice like this :
Do you like ……... Yes, I do. I like ……… No, I don’t. I don’t like…….
(2). Ask some pairs to perform their conversations.
Step 5 Presentation
(1) Point to a boy and ask a girl “Does he like bananas ” ( Yes ,he does . He likes bananas . No, he doesn’t .He doesn’t like bananas .)
(2) Then Point to a girl and ask a boy “Does she like bananas ” ( Yes ,she does . She likes bananas . No, she doesn’t .She doesn’t like bananas .)
Step 6 Pairwork
(1).Look at the chart about Gina’s and Bill’s likes and dislikes . Ask the Ss. to make conversations about they like and dislike . Please use these sentences :
Does Gina/Bob like ………… Yes, she/he does. She/He likes ………
No, she/he doesn’t. She/He doesn’t like……
(2). Ask some pairs to perform their conversations.

Task 1 . Finish 1b .Listen and number the conversations. First listen , then let the Ss. repeat and check the answer .
