Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation
Period 1 Section A 1a~1c
I. Teaching Aims:
1. Talk about travel activities correctly using “where” and “how”.
2. Ask and answer questions about the things in the past using the past tense.
3. Record a vacation in a form of a diary and express their feelings about the vacation.
4. Get to know more about each other through the exchange of what they have seen, heard and felt.
II. Analysis of the students:
1.学生在上学期已接触过一般过去时,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提,能自然地与本单元话题进行衔接。
2.八年级学生思想活跃,善于和同学交流,乐于表达自己。我在教学活动中尽量考虑学生的实际情况,由浅到深,让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语。通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦,使各层次的学生都有所收获。

1. 通过让学生聆听两个玩偶之间的对话引入本节课谈论的话题vacation.
2. 集体唱一首有关过去时的歌曲,使学生在回忆过去时的同时活跃他们的思维,增强课堂气氛,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
活动二 【活动】Study of phrases and sentenses
教师活动
1. Show a video about the teacher’s vacation.
2. Ask one student: Where did you go on vacation And get this student to ask another student the same question instead of the teacher.
3. Look at two pictures and ask four students to fill in the blanks.
学生活动
1. Watch the video and answer what the teacher did on her vacation.
2. Pass on the question“Where did you go on vacation ”one by one.
3. Listen carefully and learn new phrases and sentenses.

利用多媒体播放视屏,展示图片、词组及句型。
活动目的
1. 利用教师自身的旅游视屏,引起学生的共鸣,吸引学生主动参与,从而进入新词组、新句型的学习中。

3. Turn the lucky turning and organize the students to play this game.

使用计时器提示完成时间。
活动目的
1.学生以小组形式展开Role-play活动,充分体现新课程自主探究、合作交流的学习方式,促使学生互相学习、互相帮助,发展合作精神。
2.完成了听力任务,马上进行对话活动来巩固句型。
3.在吸引学生注意力的同时又为下面调查活动的展开打下基础。
