【记忆口诀】
基变序，有规律，多数词尾加-th。
一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t, d, d。
八去t, 九去e, 字母f把ve替，然后再加-th。
遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。
序数词表顺序，一般须加定冠词。
序数词的用法：
1. 序数词要加定冠词the。但当序数词前有物主代词(his, her…)、指示代词(this, that…)等修饰时，则不必再用the。如：
on the third floor 在三楼
on his twelfth birthday 在他十二岁生日这天
2. 序数词常用缩写形式，即“阿拉伯数字 + 个位序数词的后两个字母”。如：one → 1st; second→ 2nd; third → 3rd; twelfth → 12th; twenty-sixth → 26th
3. 序数词可表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日”。如: August 17th 8月17日 October 1st 10月1日
询问及回答生日
用句型 When is/are sb.’s birthday(s) 来询问他人的生日。回答时用sb.’s birthday(s) is/are (on/in) …或用句型：It’s (on/in) … 例如：
— When is your birthday 你的生日是什么时候？
— My birthday /It’s is on August 10th.
我的生日是八月十日。
— When is Jane’s birthday 简的生日是什么时候
— Her birthday /It’s is on January 12th.
她的生日是一月十二日。
— When are their birthdays 他们的生日是什么时候？

their birthdays是本句的主语，birthdays是birthday的复数形式，因此be动词应用are。例如：
