Ⅱ. 学情分析
初一学生是英语的初学者, 大部分学生学习态度端正,对英语感兴趣,他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中,设计多样的活动,让更多的学生有机会说英语,减少他们的恐惧感。通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使各层次的学生都有所收获。
Ⅲ. 教学重点难点
教学重点:表达对三餐食物的喜好。
教学难点:学习动词like第三人称单数在一般现在时的使用
Ⅳ. 教学过程
Step 1: Warming up
1. Ss: Sing a song Do you like
2. Guess something about me. Stand up and say your answers.
[设计意图]:课前热身,学生齐唱英文歌,巩固目标语言的同时,引领学生走入快乐的英语世界。与学生亲切交谈,通过猜测我的姓名、年龄、工作、爱好等,打破僵局。
Step 2: New words
New words: star eat well healthy really question want be fat
[设计意图]:呈现生词。通过已学的单词发音,运用自然拼读法,读生词
Step 3: Leading-in
1. Let’s talk about what some famous people like and dislike.
T: Do you know them They are volleyball stars. They won the Olympic gold medals. They are strong, because they eat healthy food.
Ss: Look at the pictures and say the sentence.
2. Healthy or not healthy Check (√) Yes, Maybe or No.
Ss: Finish 2a.
[设计意图]:谈论体育明星对三餐食物的喜好,学生起立抢答。起立大声说英语可以增强学生敢说英语的信心,鼓励全员参与,达到破冰效果。由谈论奥运女排冠军,引出阅读语段排球明星Cindy对三餐食物的喜好。
Step 4: Reading
T: Look at Cindy’s photo. Try to guess her job. What does she do What does she like eating
1. Listen and circle the food words.
[设计意图]:听短文,圈出食物单词,加强对学生听关键词的训练。
2. Fill the food words in the blanks.
3. Read and fill in the form.

4. Pairwork.
Ss: Make a conversation according to the form or the article.

3. Write five sentences about Cindy’s eating habits.
Ss: Work in groups.
[设计意图]:设计多样的阅读活动,如短文填空,完成表格,编对话,写出句子描述Cindy的饮食习惯。学生在完成各个活动的过程中,加深了对文章的理解。听说读写兼顾,巩固重点,完成教学目标的同时,提高课堂趣味性。
Step5 Groupwork: Retell the article.
Ss: Retell the article in groups.
[设计意图]:通过小组合作学习,完成复述课文任务。
Step6: Task: Help Mr. Fat
1.T: Look at the picture. What’s wrong with Mr. Fat Is he healthy Let’s help him.
Look at his diet. To be healthy, what should we eat/ drink What else can we do
(have sports, eat well, stay healthy, be happy...)
2. Proverb: Good health is over wealth.
[设计意图]:通过帮助超重儿童形成健康的饮食习惯,引导学生关注健康饮食,养成健康的生活习惯。
