教材分析本单元讨论的话题是日期。本单元的语言功能是：1、能够表述自己或家人、朋友的生日以及近期活动安排。 2、能够表述年龄。本单元的语法是：1、能够正确使用名词的所有格。 2、能够正确使用When 和 How 引导的特殊疑问句询问生日或年龄。文化知识：1、了解中、英文中关于日期表达的差异。 2、了解中、西方国家的重要节日以及日期。课时安排Period 1 ：Section A 1a~2d: 1）日期、月份的表达方法以及西方的主要节日 2）询问他人生日Period 2: Section A 2e~ Grammar Focus : 1）询问他人年龄，生日。 2）举办生日舞会，了解中西方生日舞会不同。Period 3 ：Section B 2a~ 2c： 询问他人并介绍他人的近期活动安排。讨论自己的活动安排并合理安排时间。学情分析性格即学习特点喜欢新奇；本班学生英语程度较好；本班学生思维活跃，喜欢讨论，有自己的想法；大多数学生具备良好的英语语言基础，能够教为自如地表达自己的想法语言储备 学生在本单元的前三课时中能够：学习并掌握了使用序数词表达日期；正确使用How以及When 所引导的特殊疑问句询问他人年龄、生日、近期活动安排；介绍自己及他人的生日、近期活动安排。
