1.How to enable students to write more fluently by using the linking words.
2. How to enable students to write a recipe.

Task-based language teaching method, asking and answering teaching method, the cooperative learning method, and the communicative approach.

A video from “A bite of China”; ppt
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Pre-reading
First ,have are free talk with students and ask the question:
What do you usually have on your birthdays
Next watch a video:A bite of China.(T: What is the video about Do you know the ingredients of making Yunnan Rice Noodles )
Next read3a quickly and fill in the blanks.
Then look at the pictures and number them according to the contents of 3a.
Then retell 3a according to the mind map.
Finally,talk about Xiaoxian MianPi and its history.
Step 2 While-writing
Teach the words of making Xiaoxian MianPi(3b)
Then the teacher give them the tip (Your writing will be easier if you write an outline first) and outline (3c)
Next let the students write their own recipes. Then check the work.
Step3 Post-writing
Find the best recipe!Then encourage students’ love for our hometown.
