Eg. It was two years since he had been a teacher.
*since引导的句子， 从动词（短暂/延续）动作结束计时。
Eg. It was 11 p.m. when my brother came back home.
* It is/has been + 时间段 +since.... 自从...已经有...了
* It was + 时间点 + when... 当...的时候时间是...
* It is (high/about) time that sb did sth. 某人该做... (虚拟）
* There was a time when... 曾有一段时间...

have sth done 使sth被做，sth 与done之间是被动关系

宾补可为：doing, done, N, adj, adv, prep介短

* as if=as though 仿佛，常用在look, seem, taste, smell, sound 的后面，其后的从句若可能性大，用陈述语气，若为假的，则用虚拟语气。
与现在事实不符： 过去式（be动词用were)
与过去事实不符：had + 过去分词
与将来事实不符：would / could / might / should + V. 原型
as if / as though 引导的从句
Eg. Black clouds is getting together. It seems as if it is going to rain. (陈述）
Eg. Professor Yang continued to speak as if nothing __________________(happen).
Eg. It seemed as if the world ______ (be) at an end.
Eg. He talked so confidently as if he _____________(fly) to the moon tomorrow.
as if/though 引导的从句有时可省略为as if/though+doing / to do
Eg. She stood at the door as if _______ （wait) for someone.
Eg. He opened his mouth as if ________(say) something.
14. Incredible though it may be, it seemed as if it was made of metal plates.
though（可） / although（不） / as(须）
引导让步状语从句（即“虽然”）用倒装，
Eg. Though the task is difficult, we’ll complete it in time.
Eg. Though I like the car much, I couldn’t afford it.
Eg. Though he might try, he didn’t catch up with our monitor.
* Scientist as he is, he is very humorous.
若表语为N.单数时，放在句首，其前不加冠词。
表、状、谓提到句首
