◆Step 1 Leading in Let’s have a free talk.Questions:(见课件)1.What movies do you like to watch 2.What’s your favorite movie 3.Who is your favorite movie star ...设计意图通过Free talk,引起学生对学习3a这篇评论的兴趣。◆Step 2 Reading 3a & 3bWork on 3a1.Ask the students to read the passage and underline the different kinds of movies and circle the movie names.(见课件)2.Check and help the students to learn the new items that may stop them from understanding.Work on 3b1.Encourage the students to read aloud the passage.2.Get the students to answer the questions in 3b.3.Check the answers with the whole class.(见课件)4.Explain some language points.(见课件)◆Step 3 Practice and Pair Work 3c1.Get the students to read the passage again and answer the questions on their own.(见课件)2.Let the students ask and answer the questions in pairs.◆Step 4 Grammar Focus1.Guide the students to read the sentences in the Grammar Focus.2.Explain the attributive clauses and do some exercises.(见课件)◆Step 5 Writing 4a & 4b1.Get the students to make their own sentences first and then ask some to read out their sentences.2.Read the instruction and the CD review in 4b.And make sure the students understand the review.Then ask them to write their clauses with that/which/who.3.Ask the students to check the answers in their groups.Then read out the sentences to check with the class.(见课件)◆Step 6 Pair work 4c1.Make the students work in pairs,and ask them to make conversations about the kind of things that they like or dislike according to the sample sentences.2.Ask several pairs to act out their conversations to the class.◆Step 7 Homework 1.Write a short passage about what you like and dislike.2.Preview the new words in Section B.
