1、教材分析
Unit3 Section B 以交友的话题为线索，展开对好友标准的讨论及朋友之间的对比。Section B第一课时通过语言输入及对话题的讨论达到对词汇，短语和section A 所学内容的综合运用，进而过渡到本课时的语篇阅读，并为下一课时的写作做好铺垫。最终，通过训练，达到对语言表达能力的提高。
2、学情分析
班级学生基础差异较大。因此，在阅读教学中，对于教学环节的设计，要考虑到如何分层教学。如本节课在阅读技巧的训练的设计以及小组合作，互助复述课文等，都融合了分层教学的理念。
3、教学目标
1、培养学生如何运用scanning，skimming等阅读基础技巧。
2、在有限时间内阅读，提高学生的阅读速度。
3、通过填写思维导图，帮助学生寻找细节信息。 同时，通过运用思维导图复述课文，是学生巩固本课重点词汇，并运用重点词汇表达，为下一节的写作打好基础。
4、通过阅读课文，展示图片和小组合作等，帮助学生发现友谊的真谛，并引导学生珍视身边的朋友，同学和班集体。

重点：培养学生如何运用scanning，skimming等阅读基础技巧。在有限时间内阅读，提高学生的阅读速度。
难点：利用思维导图复述文章。
