Many people in the world enjoy going to parks, where they can have fun, observe nature and relax. The classical gardens in Suzhou are unusually small but beautifully designed. Once inside, you will find yourself surrounded by natural beauty on every side, feeling the charm of mountains, forests and springs all at the same time. Hyde Park, a Royal Park in London, is quite large compared to the gardens in Suzhou. Surrounded by the natural green, you’ll feel refreshed, relaxed and at peace. The World Waterpark in Canada, on the other hand, is an amusement park for visitors to take an active part in a variety of water activities all in a place where the weather is great every day of the year. It is said to have the world’s largest indoor wave pool. If you have a chance to go there, get wet, go wild and feel wonderful. Disneyland in California is one of the world’s first theme parks. Visitors can take adventures, experience the fun of being a child again and forget reality for a while.

One evening I visited the English corner of our university for the first time. It lies beside our university library where trees and flowers grow and there is a spacious（广阔的）ground. Every evening, large numbers of people go there to improve their English.
When I arrived there, many people had already been there. I looked around and found that most of them were college students. Some of them were talking and they laughed happily. To my great surprise, I even found three foreigners talking and smiling with some students who were listening with great interest. Just then a tall student came towards me and asked,“Shall we have a talk in English ”I was a little nervous because I didn’t think I was good at English. Anyway, I said“Yes”. Soon we were talking freely about our studies, our lives, our hobbies as well as our problems of learning English. Time went fast, and it was already 10 o’clock before I realized it.
I had a good time there and was glad to learn a lot at the corner. I understood the proverb better,“Practice makes perfect.”
