一、Teaching goals:
1. Language goals:
1). To review the balls:basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis ball, baseball,ping-pong ball, baseball bat and ping-pong bat.
2). To learn the new words:great,play,sound.
3). To further study general questions guided by do or does and the short answers. Master the following sentences:
① —Do you have a baseball
—Yes, I do. /No, I don't.
② —Does she/he have a tennis ball
—Yes, she/he does./ No, she/he doesn't.
③ —Do they have a soccer ball
—Yes, they do./ No, they don't.
3) To learn the structure “Let’s…” to give advice.
2.Ability goals:
1). Students can use the target language to talk about their belongings.
2). Students can give advice by using"Let's do…".
3. Emotional goals:
To motivate students ' love for sports.To call them up to keep healthy by playing ball games.

五、Teaching procedure
StepⅠ.Lead-in to the topic.
Watch a video: Dear football.Then talk about the song” we will rock you” and football to lead in to the topic.
Purposes: To improve students’ interests in learning English. Let students know some background knowledge of football games.
StepⅡ. Revision
1. Look and say. Students look at the pictures and say the English words: basketball, soccer ball, volleyball, baseball, tennis ball, ping-pong ball,baseball bat, ping-pong bat.
2. Let's chant !
Volleyball, volleyball; I have a volleyball.
Soccer ball, soccer ball; Do you have a soccer ball
Baseball, baseball; She has a baseball.

Students guess what does the teacher have in the bag. Using the sentence pattern: Do you have a ...
Purposes: to raise students’ interests and review the new words and sentences of the last period.
Step Ⅲ. Presentation
1. Students open the books, read Grammar Focus quietly.
2. Group work. Students discuss in groups when to use do and does , have and has according to the grammar form. Then ask some students to say their opinions.
3. Show the grammar rules:
a. do和does 助动词 用于一般现在时的否定句和问句及回答中,其中does是do的第三人称单数形式,用于三单人称,do用于其它人称中。
b. have和has 实意动词“有”,has是have的第三人称单数形式。在肯定句中,has用于三单人称,have用于其它人称中;在否定句和疑问句中都用have。
4. Students read Grammar focus together.
5.Two games: There are many crabs in the pool. Can you find their homes
Purposes: To develop students’ observing, thinking and cooperating abilities. Playing the two games can make the students understand the target grammar better.

1. Work on 3b. Show the picture of Bob’s room. What does Bob have in his room Remember the things. Then close your books and ask and answer in pairs.

B: It’s on the bed.
2. Ask several pairs to show their conversations.
Purposes: To provide speaking practice with target grammar. To further challenge students while talking about other belongings, not just sport equipment.
Step VI. Summary
1. What have you learned in this class Ask some students to summarize.
2. Show a mind-map to Summarize today’s work.
3. Today’s emotional goal: Show two famous sayings. Hope that students love sports, keep healthy.

七、Teaching reflection:
The students in my class are from the countryside. they are eager to learn new things but they're not confident enough. They were first in this classroom. They felt kind of excited and nervous so they're less active than usual. But they were concentrating and cooperative. They were interested in the video,the chants and the games.And they did very well in them. During group work and pair works,they dared not to speak louder because of the new classroom and the video recording.
As the saying goes,nothing is perfect. There's a pity in this class:I should have exchanged the consolidation part for homework. The group work"Make a survey and give a report"could be better used as a consolidation.
