Bears will generally flee when they sense your presence. However, bears can be unpredictable and, in some situations, dangerous. Always leave plenty of space between you and a bear if possible.
● Never approach a bear.
● If you see cubs, be especially cautious and stay away. Mother bears can be very protective of their young.
● If you see the bear before it sees you, back away slowly, keeping your eyes on the bear.
● Retreat and/or reroute(撤退和/或改变路线) to give the bear a wide berth.
● If you have bear spray, get it ready.

1 As a nature photographer, I have to brave the elements. But despite the wind and the rain, I still enjoy working outside in the wild. One of the best things about this job is that you can observe animals in their natural environment.
2 My favourite place to take photos is Yellowstone National Park. As the world's first national park, Yellowstone is famous for the variety of its wildlife, but it is probably best known for its bears. These huge, strong animals can live for 30 years. Despite a weight of up to 300 kilograms, they can run at a speed of around 64 kilometres per hour and are also excellent swimmers.

3. Last spring in Yellowstone, I followed a path that took me through a dark forest. When I finally stepped out of the trees, the view was breathtaking. An eagle flew over the snow-capped mountains, which were reflected in the still lake below. While I was concentrating on photographing this amazing scene, I suddenly had a feeling that I was being watched. Slowly, and with the camera still held to my eye, I turned... and froze. Only metres away from me was a bear. With water falling off its thick, brown hair, the bear stared back at me. Time stood still as the bear and I both waited to see who would move first. My legs started shaking. Somehow, I forced my finger to press the button. A second later, the bear turned and ran back into the forest. When I recovered from the shock, I looked at my camera. My most frightening but magical experience was now captured forever in a single image.

Main plot
Buck is a dog, used to live a pampered life in the judge's house and was stolen by the gardener and sold to the freezing Alaska. He experienced several masters who treated Buck brutally and ruthlessly. Later he met John, a kind man. He treated Buck very gently and cured his scarred body. With the passage of time, a solid friendship has developed between one person and one dog.
Message behind the story:It expresses Darwinian thought of humanity and the law of the jungle.
The story is based on a novel written by Jack London, telling about the friendship between a dog and a man. The main characters are Buck the dog and John Thornton the owner. The story happened in Alaska, the US. At the beginning of the stoy Buck lives a pampered life in the judge's house and is stolen by the gardener and sold to the freezing Alaska. He experiences several masters who treated Buck brutally and ruthlessly. Later he meets John, a kind man. He treats Buck very gently and cures his scarred body. With the passage of time, a solid friendship has developed between one person and one dog.
Taking the wilderness as the background, the author tells mankind a warning through Buck that the wilderness is a place that human beings can't conquer and the wildness aroused by dogs is beyond human control. Buck broke away from the shackles and felt the call of the wilderness, which was his resistance to human beings. This kind of resistance shows that human beings are self-centered, depriving other species in the ecosystem, and destroying the harmony of the whole ecosystem.
