Step 1: Warm-up

Step 2: Lead-in
Watch a video and then say the names of TV shows and movies.
Step 3: New words
1.Have students listen some voices to teach: cartoon, meaningless, action, action movie.
2.Do 1a. What do you think of these TV shows and movies Choose words from the box and write them under the pictures. Then check the answers.
Activity 1: Chant time.
Step 4: Oral practice
Show students a picture to review the target language:

Before listening
Task 1: John Mary are talking about watching TV. Let students guess:

Task 2: Do 1b. Listen and circle the description words you hear in the box in 1a. Then check the answers.
Task 3:Do 1c. Listen again. Write down the words John and Mary use to describe the TV shows or movies. Then check the answers.
Task 4: Listen and fill in the blanks.
