一、教材内容分析
本单元的中心话题是“谈论个人的喜好,以及对某事物的看法和意见”,具体涉及电视节目,时尚流行,以及学生围绕电视节目和时尚视频谈论不同程度的喜好,并发表见解。语言技能和语言知识集合都是围绕“喜好”这一中心话题设计的。Section A 所呈现的是各类电视节目以及与此相关的基本语言知识点的初步运用并会发表见解。Section B 具体让学生对各类电视节目进行评价, 是在Section A基础上的拓展,主要是语言的学习、运用和巩固阶段。

通过课前预习和小组合作学习策略,利用多媒体课件来开展阅读教学,来达到熟练运用所学知识的目的。使学生乐于参与各种英语实践活动,激发学生的主动性和学习兴趣;能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务;让学生学习到米老鼠勇于面对任何危险的精神。
四、学习者特征分析
本单元的主题是以电视节目为载体,谈论个人喜好。学生在这方面有一定的生活经历和认识,对动词不定式的用法以前也或多或少有一些了解,大多数学生应该愿意运用所学知识表达自己对电视节目的意见和看法,但也有部分学生可能因基础较差,不敢开口说英语,不愿与其他同学交流。并且,部分电视节目的英语名称和用来做评价的形容词等有一定难度,不易记忆,可能会影响口语交流和表达。

Ask students to talk about some information about him. 3.Make students scan the passage first. Check the time line on page38. Ss talk about them. Step 4: While-reading Page 38,2c & 2d.Make students read paragraph 1 carefully. Then ask the Ss to answer the questions.2.Make students read paragraph 2 carefully.Then ask the Ss to answer the questions.3.Make students read paragraph 3 carefully.Ask the Ss to fill in the blanks.Check the answers.
