Step1. Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. Divide students into three groups, the group which answers more questions is the winner.
Step2.
Ask a student to read the “ Learning aims”. Then let the student read these words, others follow him or her.
Step3. Challenge your memory
Which group is the winner
Look at the picture for two minutes, then don’t look at it and write down all the things you remember.
Check the answers.
Step4. Practice
There are many things. Can you sort these things Which are the furnitures Which are the stationeries And which are the other things
Check the answers. Educate students to sort our things and put them away.
Step5.Reading
T: My friends Kate and Gina have many things too. Let’s listen to the recording and answer the two questions: Is Kate tidy Is Gina tidy
After listening, let a student check the answers.
1. Look at the passage, let S1 read it aloud. Then S2 find the new words and say their Chinese meanings.
2. Let students read the passage together, try their best to remember it. Lead in 2c: Can you remember the main idea Complete the chart. Then check the answers one by one.
3. Teacher retells the passage according to the chart, then ask some students to retell it.

Pair work: Ask and answer with your deskmate like this:
