高中英语应用文写作之
文体概述
通知是上级对下级、组织对成员或平行单位之间部署工作、传达事情或召开会议等所使用的应用文。常考的话题有活动、展览、比赛、讲座等事项通知。通知要求言简意赅、措辞得当、时间及时。
通知的结构
通知一般由标题、正文和结尾三部分组成。通知标题一般为 Notice，居中。然后是正文，正文之后，通知发布的单位或个人署名通常放在右下角，若有发布时间也放在右下角。通常包括三部分内容：
一、常用语块

(反义：缺席 be absent from)
(2) 表达某人的观点 express one’s opinion

Writing guidance
1．通知写作应注意的问题。
(1)书面通知较之口头通知所使用的句式要复杂些。书面通知可以将若干的信息通过一个句子表达出来，而口头通知则可以分为几个句子表达。
例：请准时到会。
口头：Be sure not to be late.
书面：Everyone is required to be present on time.
(2)通知的语言要简明，条理清晰，要求明确，特别是时间概念很重要，必须写得十分明确，不容丝毫含糊。

(4)为避免命令之嫌，通知中常采用被动语态或“please＋祈使句”表示要求。
