设计说明
本节课的设计主要以活动为主，培养学生自主、合作、探究能力，提升英语学科素养。安排了“进一步巩固一般过去时的运用，积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务”，“知道世界上主要的文娱和体育活动”的功能项目，并结合生活实际讲述自己的优势和特长，介绍动物的能力和特长。让学生提高综合语言运用能力。这样有利于激发学生参与学习的热情和信心，提高学生英语学习兴趣。
1. 注重教学语境的创设。
主要教学内容是谈论能力，Lingling通过Amy的奶奶的深情描述，了解到Amy 爷爷年轻时的特长，使学生学会运用一般过去谈论能力，继续巩固一般过去时的用法。通过创设情境，复习旧知导入新课，激发学生兴趣，为学生创设介绍他人能力的情景，使学生了解英语常用用语以及使用环境。
2.采取多种形式的教学活动。教学中，关注学生已有的知识经验，采取唱英语歌曲、模拟情景交流、介绍朋友能力等活动，让学生学习感受、体验、运用语言，培养学生综合语言的运用能力。

教学过程
◎Warm-up(热身活动）　
1. Greetings（问候）
用英语和同学们打招呼Hello, boys and girls. Welcome to our English class.
2. Sing s song（唱歌）
上课前播放英文儿歌《sports》的歌曲动画，让孩子伴随着音乐学唱歌曲。
T： What’s the song about
（学生回答： Sports）
3. Lead in.
T: Now look at the animals. What can they do Look at the medals on the two animals’ necks. What did they do well Now watch the video.
（学生回答：The blach horse ran really fast. Sports. The elephants play basketball really well.）
设计意图：通过唱趣味歌曲和观看形象的动画，在复习巩固旧知的同时，吸引学生的注意力，调动学生学习的积极性和主动性，提高英语学习兴趣。
◎Presentation (新知呈现)

呈现主情景图：
T: Ms Smart and Lingling are talking about some pictures. Who are they talking about
观看视频，理解文本大意。

设计意图：通过问题引导的形式，让学生学习运用一般过去式结构，学会描述过去的事情，提高语言运用能力。

根据图片和例句写出句子。注意谓语动词的恰当使用。

◎Extension（拓展活动）
小组活动，每人画出一幅朋友的画，然后用一句话描述：Look at my…In the past, he/she…
设计意图：结合生活实际创设语境，对运用本课的功能句对朋友进行描述，培养了学生学以致用的能力。
