二、教学目标:
通过图片、视频、演示、情景对话、听力,小组活动等使学生能够对的各类电视节目和电影的名称运用What do you think of . . . Why Do you want to watch them What do you plan to watch on tonight What can you expect to learn from sitcoms 等句型正确谈论自己的喜好,陈述自己的看法和意见并作出相应的回答,能够听懂他人对各类电视节目和电影的看法和意见,培养学生学习英语的兴趣合作的理念和让学生改掉不良的观看习惯,养成健康的习惯。
三、教学重点、难点
重点词汇和句型:
a: 重点词汇:cartoon action movie comedy meaningless
b: 重点句型: What do you think of . . . Why Do you want to watch them -What do you plan to watch on tonight –I plan to watch. … -What can you expect to learn from sitcoms -I can plan to …

Step1 导入
A: Lead-in:(Warming-up)
Show a short video
B:Ask the students what kind of TV show is it
Step2.Presentation
A:Look at some pictures,review the words about TV shows,at the same time ,point out new words: cartoon action movie comedy meaningless
and say out their own ideas about TV shows and movies using the sentence:What do you think of . .
B:Show all the words about TV shows and movies and some description words by mind map.
(帮助学生所有有关词汇,渗透分类记忆单词的方法)
C:Look at the pictures about TV shows and movies.

Step3.Listening.
A:导入听力,并介绍听力背景。
Show a picture .
This is Mary ,this is John.They’re talking about TV shows and movies.
B: 听录音,在1a中圈出你所听到的形容词。
listen and circle the words you hear.
C:完成1c听力任务。
Listen again. Write down the words John and Mary use to describe the TV shows or movies.
听录音,写出Mary 和 John 描述电视节目和电影的形容词。
D:核对答案。
E:出示听力答案,要求学生完成1d.
Tell your partner what John and Mary like to watch and why.Then tell your partner what you like to watch and why.
