What is “syllable音节”
概念
按音节长度分类
英语单词在发音的时候,不是一个字母一个字母地来发音的而是几个字母几个字母的拼起来发音,因此,英语单词叫做“拼音文字”,几个拼起来的发音的字母叫一个“音节”。
1.单音节:一个音节(单音节) fast /fa:st/ 快速的;只有一个元音/a:/
2.双音节:两个音节(双音节) China [ t a n ](中国)划分成chi-na两个音节
3.多音节:三个或者三个以上的音节(多音节) colorful/k l f l/

重读音节 和非重读音节
重读的规律
stressed syllables:英语的每个词,至少有一个音节读得特别重而清楚,读得重而清楚的
音节,叫重读音节。重音符号为',标注在重读音节前左上方。wonderful [ w nd fl] 。
次重读符号 ,标注在重读音节前左下方 enthusiastic[ n θju zi st k]。
unstressed syllables:读得轻而含糊的音节,叫做非重读音节或轻读音节。unstressed syllables。
1.单音节词做重读处理,但不标重读符号,who /hu:/ 。
2. 双音节词的第一个音节(倒数第二个)通常是重读音节,many /'meni/ 。
3.有前缀的双音节词,前缀单独算一个音节,重音在前缀的后一个音节上,reset[ ri:'set]。
4.多音节词通常在倒数第三个音节重读, elephant/'elif nt/ 。
5.以-ic,tion结尾的单词,重音在倒数第二个音节上,station ['stei n] 。

3.一句话说起来所需时间长短不取决于句中的单词数或音节数,而取决于句中有多少
