教材分析 This teaching period mainly deal with new words and reading. Students are expected to master the new words and learn about the rich community activities through reading . The teachers are expected to enable students to master some reading skills -- skimming.

Skill objectives: ①Predict the topic and general content of the article through pictures and titles. ②Through skimming, scanning and other reading strategies, explore and understand the text.3. Emotional objectives: Learn about club activities and cultivate enthusiasm to participate in school clubs.4. Thinking quality objectives: Talk about their opinions on clubs.
重点 Learn how to introduce the club and its activities.
难点 Guess the meaning of new words according to the context.
