1、教学内容:三年级上册Unit3 Animals Lesson1
2、教学目标:
1. 知识与技能:an elephant, a panda, a monkey, a lion, a tiger, a rabbit六个动物单词,Is this a/an...?Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
2. 过程与方法:通过教师设定的情境,学生完成一个个目标活动,从而熟悉运用目标单词和句型;
3. 情感态度价值观:学生通过学习,树立保护动物的意识。

1. 教学重点:学生学会运用目标单词和句型
2. 教学难点:Is this/it is/it isn’t的发音
4、教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up (3mins)
1. Sing and clap: Baby animals
2. Free talk: What’s this It’s...
Step 2 Lead in (1min)
Set a scene: Well, look! Here comes 6 animal friends. They get lost. Let’s help them. But we should do some tasks first. Each task, you’ll get one clue. Ready Go!
Step 3 Task 1 Who am I (15 mins)
1. Teacher shows a ear of panda and asks “What’s this ” (invite several Ss to give the answers) Then shows the whole picture, presenting “It’s a panda.”(spell the “panda” and do some actions, lay-out)
2. Point to the panda and asks “Is this a cat Yes Or No ”( Present “Is this... ” and “No, it isn’t.”)
3. Teacher shows a nose of elephant and ask “Is this a panda ”(No, it isn’t.) Is this an elephant (Present “Yes, it is.” and do the actions) (show the whole picture of elephant and consolidate “elephant”,lay out)
4. [Present monkey, lion, tiger, rabbit and lay out, as well as spell these words]
5. Practice with “Is this... Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.”
Step 4 Task 2 You draw I guess(5mins)
Teacher draws the animals step by step, Ss ask “Is this... ” until they get the right answer. (4-5 animals)
Step 5 Task 3 You do I guess(10mins)
Teacher imitates the action of animals, Ss ask “Is this... ” then exchange. [invite some Ss to have a show then Ss work in groups to practice]
Step 6 Go back home(4mins)
According to the clues, ss help the animals go back their house. Teacher educates Ss to protect the animals.
