Story教学设计
一. 教学内容:学习Story,学唱Song版块的歌曲并改编。
二. 学情分析:本课时教学内容主要是Story板块,主要学习句型How old are you I'm ... 和How old is ... She's / He's ...。在之前的学习里,学生已经初步学习了英文数词1~10、a candle / ... candles。
三. 教学目标:
1.听、说、认读句型How old are you I'm ... 和How old is ... She's / He's ...,对于年龄的询问能够及时准确地做出反应。
2.了解生日蛋糕的相关文化知识。
3.学会运用“寻读”“提取重点信息”等阅读技巧。
四. 教学重难点:
1. 对Story的阅读理解,了解生日蛋糕的相关文化知识。
2. 能用正确区分How old are you I'm ... 和How old is ... She's / He's ...。
3. 对于年龄的询问能够及时准确地做出反应。
五. 教学过程
I. Warming
1. Introducing and greeting.
The T introduces herself to the Ss and says hello to them.
T: Hello. I'm Ms. Yu. Nice to meet you.
T: Hello. What's your name ... How are you ...
2. Guessing game for revision.
T: Look! Here come our friends. (Show the PPT of Gogo, Tony, Jenny, ask Who's he / she ... )
T: 今天Gogo, Tony, Jenny 邀请大家一起来学习,咱们分组比赛,Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Group 4, 看看哪个组的学习比较积极,表现好的组将能得到Ms. Yu 给你们准备的礼物。
Then T shows pictures(镂空问号遮盖) and asks questions.
T: Now, let's play a guessing game. Look at the picture! What's this
Ss: It's a desk.
T: Yeah, that's right. And what's this
Ss: It's a ... / candle.
T: Look! (展开图片) One candle, two candles, ... ten candles。引导学生数数。
T: OK. Continue. This is ( Write the numbers on the Bl.) 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.
II. Leading
1.Listen and match.
T: Good. Next game. Listen to me and match the numbers. 听Ms. Yu读数字,连线,看看会变成什么?One volunteer does it on the Bl., the others take up your Ex sheets, look at number 2, please do on the paper. Who wants to try here ... Are you ready Ssh! Begin! 1, 5, 10, 2, 9, 6, 1, 4, 7, 8, 3, 2.
2. Check.
Check the answer and see what it is.
T: Oh, it's a birthday cake. Whose birthday is it Look! ( PPT and music: Happy Birthday, Tony! )
3. Guide Ss to answer It's Tony's birthday..., lead out Yeah, that's right.
T: Whose birthday is it It's Tony's birthday. We should say "Happy birthday!" to Tony.(板书课题)
III. Reading
1.1st reading, understand the candles on the birthday cake.
T: It's Tony's birthday.那我们的birthday cake 还差什么啊?
Ss: Candles. / 蜡烛。
T: Yeah, that's right. 可这candles该插多少哇?Open your books, turn to page 34. Let's read quickly. (举着练习示意)大家在birthday cake 上简单地画出来。
学生自主阅读故事后,请一位学生到黑板上贴蜡烛,其他的在练习卡上画。
T:One volunteer does it on the Bl.. Who wants to try
T: Look at the candles. Let's count. One, two, ...
T:为何是nine candles呢?
Ss: 因为Tony 是9岁。
T:大家如何知道Tony的年龄的?
Ss:因为......
T:Yeah, that's right. One candle代表一岁。从birthday cake 上的candles我们就可以知道主人公的年龄。
2.2nd reading, pick out the sentence How old are you
T: Gogo想了解Tony的年龄,是用什么句子问Tony的?Let's look, listen and read again.大家找出来。
播放story动画,学生自主阅读故事,看完后引导学生回答How old are you, Tony ,板书,教读句子。
T: OK. Look at the candles. Tony自己直接回答Gogo的文题,该怎么回答?请大家选择合适的句子帮Tony回答。( You're nine. I'm nine. ) 板书句子。
Teacher asks the Ss' ages.
T: Wonderful! Ms. Yu也想了解大家的年龄。(走到学生中间) Hello! How old are you ...
3. 3rd reading, read after the flash, pick out the other key sentences.
T:Story里除了谈到Tony的年龄,还谈到谁的年龄呢?
Ss: Jenny. / Gogo.
T: 那分别是用什么句子来问的。Look, listen and read. 我们再来看看、听听故事,跟读,找出相应的句子。
学生逐句跟读。
T: OK. Gogo想了解Jenny的年龄,他有没有直接问Jenny 他问谁?/ 问句是......?
Ss: 没有。/ Tony. / How old is your sister (教师板书问句。)
T: Tony是怎么回答的?
Ss:She's eight. (教师板书句子。)
T:那Tony想了解Gogo的年龄,他有没有直接问Gogo?问句是......?
Ss: 有。 / How old are you, Gogo (教师板书句子。)
T: Look at the candles. 请大家选择合适的句子帮Gogo回答。( You're five. I'm five. ) 板书句子。

4. 4th reading, try to understand the differences between How old are you and How old is ...
T:为什么问年龄有时用How old are you ,有时用 How old is ... 大家跟着Ms. Yu一起读读、想想。
读完之后,引导学生说出两个问句的不同。
T:直接询问对方的年龄用How old are you ,询问第三人的年龄用How old is ...
Teacher ask How old are you How old is ... in class.
5. 5th reading, read by Ss themselves and finish the passage.
T: Well done. 接下来Ms. You想看看同学们对故事理解得怎样。请大家同桌两个人再次读读故事,然后用适当的词汇完成小短文。It's Tony's birthday. . . Go!(The whole class read together.)
It's Tony's birthday. Tony, Jenny and Gogo are at the birthday party(生日聚会). How old is Tony He's . How is Jenny She's . How about Gogo Oh, he's .
T: Are you OK Let's check the answers. 校对答案,展示。
T:Now read after me.
IV. Practicing
1. Group game. Look at the PPT, count the candles and answer How old is ... group by group.
T: Look at the PPT. How old are you Look at the candles. How old is ...
T: Your turn now. Three groups ask, one group answer.
2. Song time. Listen and learn to sing the song of P37. Then try to change the lyrics.
T: You do a good job today. 奖励大家a song. Turn to Page 37, look and listen, try to sing after it.
T: Look, how old is Jenny / Gogo / Ben / Xiaofang 你能否改编新歌词来演唱?OK, let's try.
V. Summary
