Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science.
Section B (1a-1e)
一、学习目标
（一）知识目标
1. 掌握以下句型：
-What are you going to do next year –Well, I’m going to take guitar lessons.
2. 熟练掌握以下词汇: resolution, team, foreign
3. 进一步熟练掌握be going to结构的用法。
（二）技能目标
能听懂用be going to结构谈论未来打算的对话，并能用该结构谈论未来的打算。
二、情感态度
通过谈论未来的打算，引导学生学会给自己制定目标，并能为之付出努力。
三、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：
1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。
2) 进行听力训练，提高综合听说能力。
3） 进一步熟练掌握be going to的结构用法，以此来谈论未来的打算。
2. 教学难点：
1） 听力训练。
2）用目标语言谈论未来的打算。
四、教学过程
StepⅠ. Warming- up and revision
1. Daily greeting.
2. 头脑风暴： 说出表示职业的名词。
teacher, nurse, doctor, actor, actress, runner, basketball player, pilot, waiter, computer programmer, pianist, scientist, violinist…
3.猜工作。
给出短语，让学生猜与之对应的职业。
Step Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Do activity 1a.
2. Present some of my New Year’s Resolutions on the screen. Let students guess my resolutions.
3. Let Ss talk about their own resolutions.
4. Make a survey in groups and do a report.
5. Listening
Work on 1c:
1) Tell Ss to read the resolutions in 1a. Tell Ss to listen and circle the resolutions they hear.
2) Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle.
3) Check the answers:
Work on 1d:
1) T: Now please look at the chart in 1d. Tell Ss Lucy, Kim and Mike are talking about their New Year’s Resolutions. How are they going to do it Listen and try to fill in the blanks.
2) Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to fill in the blanks.
3) Play the recording again and check the answers with the class.
Step III. Consolidation
Ask students to think about their plans for the future and write down the key words to make a speech.
