一．教学目标:
认知目标：1.Words: invite(v)邀请，accept(v)接受，refuse(v)拒绝
2.情态动词：can/could. may/might. Must. Have to的使用
3.Sentences: Can you come to my party
Sure, I’d love to.
Sorry, I can’t. I have to study for a math test.
I’m afraid not. I might go to the doctor.
能力目标：能熟练运用目标语言来发出,接受以及谢绝邀请（make, accept and decline invitations）
情感目标：通过各种形式的邀请活动培养学生与人友好交往的能力。
二．学情分析：学生的抽象思维能力较低，形象思维能力强。但注意力容易分散，本课教学过程中可以以对话表演，角色表演等形式展开，并配以适合年龄特色的课件展示，从而增强学生的兴趣和注意力。
三．教学重点：
1.重点单词：invite, accept, refuse
2.重点句式：Can you come to my party
Sure/Of course, I’d love to.
Sorry, I can’t/I’m afraid not.
I have to study for a test.
I might go to the doctor.
四．教学难点
1.熟练运用语言目标发出并接受和拒绝邀请。
2.invite的用法：invite sb to + 地点 invite sb to do sth
五．教学方法
充分利用多媒体，采用多种趣味活动（如：PK game,brainstorm等）使学生广泛参与听,说练习中。
六．教学过程
Step1.准备与热身(preparation)
Revise the phrases: have the flu/ prepare for an exam/study for a math test/meet my friend/help my parents/go to the doctor.
Step2.呈现与输入（presentation）
1．Tell the class I’m going to have a party. Invite the students to come to the party. Present how to make, accept and decline invitations.
Invite: Can you come to my party
Would you like to come to my part
Accept: Sure/of course/yes/certainly, I’d love to.
Refuse: Sorry, I can’t. I have to study for a math test.
I’m afraid not. I have a piano lesson.
I might meet my friends.
2． Present Grammar Focus
First,let the students look through the grammar focus,then ask some students to read the sentences for the class.
Step3.练习与体验（practice）
First，teach students how to use the words （might/can/must/have to）. Then ask students to do the exercises in 3a and 3b by having a PK game between boys and girls.
Step4.运用与生成（production）
1.A brainstorm:ask students to think of as many things they might do next week as possible.
2.Ask students to write down everything they have to do next week. Choose a day and time to have a party. Then invite classmates to your party.(3c)
A: Can you come to my party
B: When is it
A: Next week. On Thursday night.
B: I’m sorry. I have to study for a math test.
3.Ask students to sum up how to make, accept and decline invitations.
Step5.巩固与提高（progress）
Give students some exercises to use what they have learned in this lesson.（ 课件展示）
Explain the usage of invite : I invite you to my party.(invite sb to +地点)
She invited me to go to the movies with her.(invite sb to do sth)
