3a-selfcheck 单元复习写作课
一、指导思想和理论依据
《英语课程标准》明确指出:英语教学应该以生为本,面向全体学生,不断激发学生的学习兴趣,联系学生自身的生活实践,倡导体验参与,培养学生的语言运用能力。同时,英语核心素养要求培养学生的思维品质。
本节课是一节单元复习写作课,内容选自九年级全一册Unit4单元,讲授这一课时,通过free talk 激发学生对于本单元话题的谈论。然后教师通过设计听说读写等各个活动,将目标语言融入语境,提供写作范本,再给学生输入巩固目标语言的基础上促使学生进行开放性思考和多角度思考,拓展学生对于本单元话题的理解和应用,让学生带有批判的眼光看待自身变化,鼓励学生接受自己以及努力成为更好的自己,这也正迎合了课程标准中提出的以人为本的育人理念。
二、教材分析
1、教材话题是学生学习运用used to 结构谈论变化,关于现在完成时态和外貌描写和比较级等知识均有复现。
2、教材中新词和短语较多,选取的两篇文章均是有关学生自我变化的介绍。但是介绍角度不同,第一篇文章关注学生变化后带来的双重影响,引发学生思考,第二篇文章是向上的改变,积极引领学生。两篇范文表述词汇均丰富,对学生写作提供了一定参考和学习,听力部分材料关注到了学生爱好和学习态度的变化,丰富了学生语料。
3、但是教材体现的知识易错点get/be used to doing 和used to没有体现。
4、教材整体话题接近学生生活,学生比较有话可说。
三、学情分析
1、 大部分学生容易从外表和性格描述自己和他人的变化,忽略其他方面变化的观察和描述。
2、本节课的单词短语比较多,如humorous,silent,scores,general introduction,ants,insects,influence,be absent from, boarding students ,dare to do ,private 等,多数词汇是学生之前没有学过的,需要教师在复习课上多渗透和多巩固,以便学生能够更好的认识和学习运用。
3、 学生很少思考变化所引起的负面效应和很少关注自己或谈论不好的变化。本节课要促使学生进行开放性思考的同时也对未来自己的变化没有一个特定的期许或目标。
四、教学目标
(1)通过本节课,学生能够巩固对本单元生词短语的理解和运用,学会用目标句型来谈论自己和同学的变化。
(2)让学生学习从多方面认和谈论书写自己的变化,丰富自己的文章内容。
(3)促使学生针对变化进行开放性思考,学会反思,启发学生要学会自我反省和学习接受自己,并且激励学生努力成为更好的自己。
五、教学重、难点及突破措施
1、教学重点:
(1)To consolidate the target language-used to be/do and new words and phrases.
突破措施:To put the new phrases and words into different activities.
(2)To teach students how to write their changes from different aspects.
突破措施:Provide students with examples and summarize the common traits.
2、教学难点: (1)used to do/be 之间易犯错误,还有与get used to doing 的区别。
突破措施: 放在文章语境之中区别并巩固。
(2)从不同方面学习描述自己的变化。
突破措施:听读材料中为学生写作提供范本。
六、教学过程
1.Lead-in
【教师活动】:
1) Ask students “Do you think people will change ”.
2) Ask students how the teacher has changed or how they have changed.
【学生活动】: 1) Talk about the teacher’s changes 2) Talk about their own changes
【设计意图】Review the topic and activate their interests to talk about the topic.
2.Listening
【教师活动】:
1) Ask students to listen to the materials and fill in the blanks and check the answers.
2) Lead students to talk about their changes from different aspects.

3) To enlighten students that this material is an general introduction.
【学生活动】:Listen and fill in the blanks.
Focus on the different aspects when introducing somebody’s changes.
【设计意图】: To lead students to talk about the changes from different aspects.
3. Speaking
【教师活动】:
1) Ask Ss to talk about their own changes.
2) Ask Ss to work in groups to talk about their classmates’ changes without telling others the names and then give hints one by one. As for others, they try to listen carefully and guess who he/she is according to the hints.
3) To activate students to thinks about that even good changes can bring them something bad, just like a coin has two sides. And then enlighten them to give examples.If they can’t give proper examples, the teacher would lead them to think about the bad changes after becoming a pop star.
【学生活动】:
1) Talk about their own changes from different aspects.
2) Ss chose a classmate and try to describe his or her changes from different aspects and then other students guess the student’s name.
3)To activate students to think critically.
【设计意图】:
1) To consolidate the target language including the sentence structure and some phrases.
2) To enrich their talking materials and open their eyes
3) To enlighten students to think about something from different aspects and think critically.
4. Reading
Passage
People get used to talking about their good changes. However , it’s necessary for students to look back upon past times and do an self-evaluation(自省)to see whether they have got better or worse .
For example, some students used to get good scores. But after entering the middle school, they found it difficult to catch up with others. So they fell behind. They began to be absent from classes. They seldom do homework, even fail the exams. Do you have the same experience
I’m sure many times everyone must have thought about giving up. Please don’t. Fight on. Maybe it requires lots of hard work. But if you give it a try, you may see a different self and even make it to the top. At that time, you’re proud of yourself.
Not all experience are good, neither nor changes. But all of them will in some ways translate themselves into our characters(性格).
Remember -It’s never too late to change to be a better self.

5. Summary
How time flies. It’s been 3 years since we met each other. Some of you has changed a lot. Somebody used to be silent in class, but now he is very a____ and Somebody used to have poor _____ in English. But through his hard work, he has become more interested in English and got better scores on his exams. Most of you used to be afraid of many things such as high places, the darkness, even the small i______ like ants. But now you d_____ to deal with them bravely.
