教材分析
本节课是人教版新目标英语八年级上册Unit9 Can you come to my party?的第一课时,内容为1a-2c部分,围绕“邀请”这一话题,开展教学活动,并以这一主题引出怎样接受或拒绝别人的邀请。本课学生要学习掌握的单词、短语及句型如下: 1.单词及短语:prepare, exam, prepare for an exam, flu, have the flu, go to the doctor, help my parents, meet my friends, available, another time, 2.句型:(1) — Can you come to my party on Saturday afternoon — Sure, I’d love to. / Sure. That sounds great! / I’m sorry, I can’t. I have to ... / I’m afraid not. … / I’m sorry. I’m not available. I must…(2) — Can you go to the movies on Saturday — I’m sorry, I’m not available. I have too much homework this weekend.(3) That’s too bad. Maybe another time.
学情分析
本节课的教学对象是乡镇的八年级的学生,学生的基础比较薄弱,部分学生学习的积极性不高,自我表达的自信心不足。经过七年级的英语学习之后,学生的英语能力产生了较大的差距,特别是在知识储备和语言技能上的差距比较明显。学生在思维方式上偏重于形象思维,对片面、零碎的材料尚缺乏一定的概括分析能力。大部分学生对学习有一定的兴趣,渴望被肯定,但由于差距,有的学生接受能力差反映能力慢,害怕当众说英语,不敢表现自我。
教学目标
一、语言知识目标1. 能掌握以下单词及短语:prepare, exam, prepare for an exam, flu, have the flu, go to the doctor, help my parents, meet my friends, available, another time, 2. 能掌握以下句型:(1)— Can you come to my party on Saturday afternoon — Sure, I’d love to. / Sure. That sounds great! / I’m sorry, I can’t. I have to ... / I’m afraid not. … / I’m sorry. I’m not available. I must…(2)— Can you go to the movies on Saturday — I’m sorry, I’m not available. I have too much homework this weekend. (3)That’s too bad. Maybe another time. 二、能力目标学会表达邀请,学会对邀请进行恰当的应答及拒绝。三、 情感态度价值观目标 学会人际交往的基本常识,学会有礼貌地邀请别人以及回答别人的邀请的方式。
教学重点和难点
教学重点:1. 运用所学的目标语言提出邀请,接受邀请和拒绝邀请2. 正确使用can, have to, must 等情态动词。教学难点:1. 扎实掌握重点词汇和表示邀请的句型并能灵活运用。 2. 通过听力练习和小组合作,理解并能提出邀请并作肯定、否定回答。

教学反思
本节课将现代教育技术与英语课紧密地融合在了一起,让学生在学习时学习的速度更快;掌握的内容更加准确;得到的知识更加全面系统。同时,又以其生动、形象、新颖、直观的特点,大大优化了英语课堂教学,给学生提供了更多的语音实践机会,这对于提高学生学习自信心,发展学生的英语语言运用能力至关重要。在学习过程中,学生能积极参与到课堂中来,回答问题,师生对话、生生对话等等。在课堂上,有很多学生需要老师的肯定以及对他们的鼓励,让他们感觉到付出努力就能收获到知识的喜悦,增强学习的自信心。由于学生的基础较弱,活动的开展不是那么顺畅,最后时间有点紧,需要在活动内容上做些适当的调整。
