(二)认知目标:
弄清主动语态与被动语态的差异,通过练习和运用加以巩固。
情感目标:
1.通过本单元学习使学生懂得人类的科学发明创造了丰富的物质文明,了解中外发明者的事,增强民族自豪感,勤奋学习,立志为社会多作贡献的精神。
2.能客观的认识自己,培养学生的创造发明的能力和愿望,

通过对中国发明创造及外国先进文明的了解,开阔眼界,为促进东西方文化交流打好基础。

1. 认知策略:通过收集信息,相互交流的方式,了解中外发明家及其发明, 培养观察力注意力想象力及逻辑推理能力。
2. 交际策略:在谈论个人看法的过程中,学会欣赏别人,学会与人沟通。
3. 资源策略:通过谈论一些发明的背景用途等,把相关学科的信息联系起来,体现学科融合,资源共享的现代教学方法。

一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:

2) 学会询问发明时间及用途的基本句型:

三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. 展示一些近代发明的图片与近代发明的发明者,让学生们将图片与发明者相连。

The four great inventi ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ons: Printing, gunpowder, paper-making and the compass are the four great inventions of the ancient China. They were invented by Chinese. They still play an important part in the modern world.
2. Talk about other inventions in the world.
Step 2 Presentation
引导学生们学习一般过去时态的被动语态结构。
让学生们看大屏幕的如果爱和发明者的图片,并将句子改为被动语态。
如:
T: Karl Benz invented the first car in 1885.

Step 3 Talking
1. Look at the pi ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com" \o "欢迎登陆21世纪教育网 )ctures in 1a. Discuss with your group, in what order do you think they were invented Try to number them [1-4]. 【版权所有:21教育】
2. Ss discuss with their partners and number the pictures.
3. Talking about the inventions:
A: I think the TV was invented before the car.
B: Well, I think the TV was invented after the TV.
Step 4 Listening (1b)
1. T: Tell Ss look at the pictures and years on the left.
2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen.
3. Ss listen to the ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com" \o "欢迎登陆21世纪教育网 )conversation and try to match the invention with the proper year.
4. Play the recording again.
5. Check the answers.
Step 5 Pair work (1c)
1. Ss try to remember the invention and the year.
2. Student B ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com" \o "欢迎登陆21世纪教育网 ), cover the dates. Student A, ask Student B when the things in the picture in 1b were invented. Then change roles and practice again.
3. Let some pairs ask and answer in pairs.
e.g. A: When was the telephone invented
B: I think it was invented in 1876.

Step 6. Learning the new words & Listening
Look at the pictures then learn the new words.
Work on 2a:
T: Tell Ss they will hear some interesting inventions.

2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures.

2. Explain some new words and main points in the conversation.
3. Read the passage quickly and answer the questions.

Step 9 Language points
1. the style of the shoes 鞋子的款式
(1) style名词,意 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )为“样式;款式”。其常用短语 in style意为“时髦的”,其反义短语为out of style, 意为“过时的”。

3. Think about how often it’s used in our daily lives.

(1) daily (happening, done or produced every day)
形容词,意为“每日的;曰常的”。
