这节课的主题是Halloween，属于西方传统节日，通过学生和教材的分析，在教授today is Halloween. 这篇文章时，注意突出了以下几点：1、突出重点，攻破难点：本节课的重点为动词词组，因此我设计了很多对于这些词或短语的巩固性练习。从听说读写四个方面全面培养锻炼学生英语学习能力，提高英语水平。2、紧扣教材，层层深入：我从中国传统节日中秋节导入，学习万圣节的各项活动。以旧知带新知，从四季的复习入手，复习了autumn的同时也学习了festival这一生词。紧扣教材，问题设置从yes or no questions 到T or F，再到最后的完成文段，坚持由易到难，逐步提高学生的学习积极性和自信心。3、创新竞争机制，提高学习积极性本节课我采用小组比赛的方式，对于回答问题主动或正确的学生以奖励，课前就在黑板上画好一根南瓜藤，小组比赛每回答正确一个问题就加上一笔，在回答问题的过程中充分调动了学生的积极性和好奇心，最终pumpkin的出现也令学生十分欣喜。无形之中便让学生在头脑中将万圣节和南瓜联系到了一起。
