三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming-up
1. Greeting the Ss.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T: Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too..
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Present the key vocabulary.
For example: (Show a basketball to the class.)
T: What’s this in English
S1: It’s a basketball.
T: Yes, you are right. Read after me. basketball.
(Show the students other sport things. Teach the new words “soccer ball, ping-pong ball, volleyball, tennis bat, ping-pong bat” in the same way.)
T: Read the words in the groups about 1s. And read it together.
2. Play a game.
Teacher show pictures, Ss should give these sport things’ names.
3. Look at the words in 1a and match the words with the things in the picture.
Ask one student to show the answers and check them.
4. Do a listening 1b. play the tape just one times, check their answers.
3. Present the key structure.
(1) Watch a video. Do you have a pet Yes, I do.
(2) Present these questions and answers.
T: Do you have a pencil box
S1: Yes, I do. (Nod your head yes)
(3) Teacher show some pictures.
T: Do you have a basketball
S1: No, I don’t. (Shake your head no) ……
Ⅲ. Practice
Ss look at some balls, one student move the picture and lead all students to practice like this:
S1: Do you have a basketball
S2: Yes, I do. I have a basketball.
S1: Do you have a soccer ball
S1: No, I don’t. I don’t have a soccer ball.
Ⅳ. Pair work
1. Read the conversations in 1c. (Ask students to repeat.)
2. Look at the picture in 1a and practice the conversation with each other in pairs.
S1: Do you have …

S2: No, I don’t.
3. Work in pair of two and use the picture to practice the similar conversations with the new words. (basketball, baseball bat, soccer ball, volleyball, ping-pong bat, baseball)
T: Ask and answer the questions as many as you can.

Teacher show six eggs and let Ss choice one of them. Then make a conversation in pair.
